Han Xiaolei
Han Xiaolei (1941-march 19, 2003), born in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, is a male director, screenwriter, actor and associate professor of Beijing Film Academy in mainland China.
After graduating from the Directing Department of Beijing Film Academy in 1964, Han Xiaolei stayed in school to teach. In 1979, he participated in the film "cherry" co directed by the Ministry of culture and won the excellent film award of 1979. He directed the graduation work of 85th students and the short feature film "past childhood" won the silver award of the International Student Film Festival. In 1990, he wrote the TV series "iron mayor" and won the excellent TV Drama Award of 1991 In 1992, Feitian won the best screenplay Award; in 1991, the TV play "looking for Lao Jiao" directed by Feitian won the excellent award of single play in central and South China in 1992. In 2002, he became an associate professor of Beijing Film Academy. He died on March 19, 2003.
Early experience
In 1964, Han Xiaolei joined the Communist Party of China and graduated from the director department of Beijing Film Academy in the same year. He has successively served as the professional director of 85 undergraduate classes, 89, 90 and other director cadre training classes, director major of night University and in-service postgraduate classes with the same degree. In 1974, Han Xiaolei was seconded to Bayi film studio to work as deputy director of several films.
Acting experience
In February 1979, he co directed the feature film "cherry" with Zhan Xianggu, trying to explore how to move people with emotion in the film. He firmly grasped the lyric style of the whole film, and worked hard to create typical characters. The performance required the actors to go deep into people's inner world. He won the excellent film award of the Ministry of culture in 1979. In 1982, the trainee lawyer, which was shot, was greatly influenced by the documentary aesthetics. The film was extremely negative and exploratory. The whole film only had more than 80 scenes. The significance of this film is to confirm the maturity of Chinese film theory and to set a good example for the exploration of art film. In 1984, he starred in the first horror film of the people's Republic of China, the lonely soul of the black building. In 1990, the screenwriter's TV series "iron mayor" won the excellent TV Drama Award of the Ministry of radio and television in 1991 and the best screenwriter award of the flying sky award in 1992. In 1996, he completed the TV series "love covers the wind and rain for you". In 2002, after his retirement, Han Xiaolei took the initiative to ask the department leaders for teaching tasks. He exchanged teaching experience with young teachers who had just set foot on teaching posts. At the same time of busy teaching, he wrote a monograph "art of film director", a research achievement accumulated for many years. On March 19, 2003, Han Xiaolei died of thrombosis due to chronic fatigue. He was 62 years old. Han Xiaolei's ashes were placed in Fenghuangshan cemetery in Changping, Beijing on April 2, 2003.
Personal life
In April 1995, Han Xiaolei met Bai Han. In May 1996, they were married in Beijing. On February 19, 2012, Bai Han died of illness at the age of 56. On February 29, he and his husband Han Xiaolei were buried in the beautiful Fenghuang Mountain Cemetery in Changping, Beijing.
