Liu Deyi (February 3, 1945 - June 15, 2008), born in Ziyang County, Sichuan Province, is a national first-class actor.

In 1988, he appeared in the first TV series lingtangyuan. In 1992, he starred in Sichuan dialect drama "teacher fool". In 1995, he starred in the humorous comedy "three joys on the door"; in the same year, he won the "five one project" award of Chongqing, Sichuan Province. In 1998, he starred in Sichuan dialect drama "commander fool"; in the same year, he was awarded the title of "top ten laughing stars in Bashu". In 2000, he starred in the dialect comedy Ling Tangyuan waizhuan. In 2001, he starred in Sichuan dialect drama "commander fool". In 2002, she starred in the dialect comedy "hot girls in the city". In 2005, he starred in the satirical comedy "biography of Wang Baochang". In 2006, he starred in the sitcom Wang Baochang's biography.

At 2:55 am on June 15, 2008, he died of a heart attack in Chengdu. He was 64 years old.

Early experience

In 1957, he was admitted to the training class of Chongqing Sichuan opera academy to study art. He was taught by famous Sichuan Opera clowns Li Wenjie and Liu Yuneng. In 1965, he graduated and was assigned to the second troupe of Chongqing Sichuan opera academy as clown actor. In his spare time, he studied writing.

Personal life

In 1969, Liu Deyi married Zhang Xianglin. At the end of 2003, his wife Zhang Xianglin died of cancer. In August 2006, Liu Deyi and Li Jie received their marriage certificate. On June 15, 2008, Liu Deyi suffered a heart attack and died in Wenjiang District People's Hospital of Chengdu at the age of 64.
