Wang Xinyu
Wang Xinyu, Han nationality, Professor, born in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province in June 1930, joined the revolution in 1948 and the Communist Party of China in 1981. He used to be a member of the literary and art troupe of the army. In 1956, he was admitted to the director department of Beijing Film Academy. In 1960, he stayed in the school to teach. He once served as deputy director, acting director and graduate tutor of the director department. Directed many films and TV series.

Academic works
His works include an introduction to the art of film and television directors and basic knowledge of film and television directors. He is the chief editor of the director branch of the dictionary of film art. Judge of the "flying sky Award" for TV series. Some of his papers have been included in Chinese literature and Art Yearbook and Chinese film yearbook. In 1991, he led a student delegation to attend the International Student Film Festival in Munich, Germany, and gave a speech on film and film education in China.
