Zhan Tong (1932-1995), also known as Zhan Tongsheng, was born in Nanhai, Guangdong Province. He once served as vice president of China Animation Association, member of comics art committee of China Artists Association, first-class art designer and director of Shanghai Art Film Studio. Comic creation began in the mid-1940s. He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1956 and worked in Shanghai fine arts film studio in the same year. Comics and art films have won awards at home and abroad for many times. Representative works: Zhu Bajie eating watermelon (children's reading materials), if I were Wu Song (art film), all ghosts cut, this essence left alone, and so on. Published "Zhan Tong comics", "I draw comics for 50 years" and so on. In addition to the ingenious design of his paintings, his modeling and line skills make people never tire of seeing them. First of all, this is due to his background in the Central Academy of fine arts. More importantly, his tireless pursuit of art, great wisdom and deep skill make his works admirable. Personal life
Zhan Tong (1932-1995), cartoonist. Zhan Tongxun, director and art designer of Shanghai art film studio, was born in the first month of the lunar calendar in 1932. My grandfather was Zhan Tianyou, a famous expert in Railway Engineering in China. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1956, he was assigned to work in the film Bureau of the Ministry of culture, and later worked in the art section of Shanghai Film Studio. Zhan Tong has participated in the art design of more than 30 films, among which the more outstanding ones are the puppet film "Dragon carving" (1959), which won the second silver medal of Bucharest International Puppet film and puppet puppet puppet film; the puppet film "firewood girl" (1960), which won the honorary award of the 12th karovi Farley International Film Festival in Czech Republic; and 1964 The paper cut "almost the same" won the Youth Award of the 10th Tour International Short Film day in France. In 1956, after graduating from the Central Academy of fine arts, he was assigned to Shanghai fine arts film studio as an art designer and later as a director. The cartoon Zhu Bajie eating watermelon won the first prize of the second Chinese children's literature and art creation; the cartoon China Travel won the fifth place of German cartoon year in 1980; and the cartoon ghost catching won the National Cartoon masterpiece award. In particular, he has been enthusiastic about the people's cartoon creation activities for decades, and won the golden monkey award of Chinese cartoon awarded by the Chinese Artists Association. He joined the Jiusan Society in 1982 and was the chairman of the Shanghai Literature and art branch of the Jiusan Society. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1987. In 1991, he was awarded the title of Excellent Communist Party member of Shanghai propaganda system by the Propaganda Department of Shanghai municipal Party committee. He is also a member of the seventh and eighth Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, director of the China Film Association, and President of the Shanghai comics society. Personal evaluation
In the comic circle of China in the last century, there were several powerful celebrities in Guangdong. However, few people know that Zhan Tong, who was born in Beijing and lives and works in Shanghai, is from Nanhai, Guangdong.
