Character evaluation
Great blue lake, directed by Tsang Tsui Shan, is a rare naturalistic work in Hong Kong films, which directly focuses on the countryside ecology beyond the urban scene of Hong Kong and reflects the love and crime of modern city with the ups and downs of people's mind. Her style is refined and neat, and her solemn blue covers the countryside road in Ho Chung, Sai Kung, making her native place like a dream. Based on independent production, Tsang Tsui Shan made her debut as a documentary film. For many years, she has been based on the local vision and micro perspective, and has become one of the few realistic independent female directors in the Hong Kong film industry. In presenting the other side of the Hong Kong space, Tsang Tsui Shan is unique and precious (Phoenix Entertainment review).
