Yuqing County
Yuqing county is a county under the jurisdiction of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is located in the hinterland of Central Guizhou and the southeast corner of Zunyi. It is the junction of Zunyi, Tongren, Qiannan and Qiandongnan. It borders Shiqian County in the East, Huangping County in the south, Shibing County in the southeast, Weng'an county in the southwest, Meitan County in the northwest and Fenggang county in the northeast. The county covers an area of 1623.7 square kilometers.
As of 2016, Yuqing county has jurisdiction over 8 towns, 1 ethnic township and 1 Street, with a total of 70 villages.
By the end of 2015, the total number of registered residence households in Yuqing was 104634, with a total population of 305306. There are 22 ethnic groups including Han, Miao, Dong, Gelao and Tujia.
In 2017, the gross regional product was 8086.35 million yuan, an increase of 9.3% over the previous year. It is a typical mountainous agricultural county. In December 2019, it will become a pilot unit for the construction of national rural governance system.
Evolution of organizational system
In the early Western Jin Dynasty, Qilan county was set up as Wanshou County in the Han Dynasty, which was the county of Jue, and now Yuqing county. In the Southern Dynasties of song, Qi, Liang and Chen, Wanshou County remained unchanged.
In the Sui Dynasty, Wanshou county was extended to Jue County, which was called Jue County of Jue Prefecture. Today, the county is located in the territory.
Before the Tang Dynasty, there was no record of Administrative Establishment in the territory. In 876, two chieftains, Baini and Yuqing (today's Aoxi), served as the school captains, which was the beginning of the establishment of the county. From the Yuan Dynasty to the 28th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1291), Yuqing was changed into yuqingzhou. Zhizheng 23 years (1363) changed the white mud long lawsuit to white mud state. In 1384, Yuqing and Baini prefectures were reorganized. After Pingbo in 1601, governor of Guizhou Guozi Zhangzuo asked that Baini and Yuqing should be merged into Yuni County, which was renamed Yuqing county. There were three li of Yuqing, Baini and Hejiang, with jurisdiction over more than 40 villages. In 1688, in the 27th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Yuqing was under the jurisdiction of four Li. In 1914, the county was divided into districts. In 1941, the Fifth District of Huangping county (taipingbao) was transferred to Yuqing. So far, Yuqing has set up five districts, and the administrative divisions are basically fixed. On November 12, 1949, Yuqing county was liberated, with four districts and 13 townships. In September 1951, the county was divided into five districts, 13 townships and 105 administrative villages. By April 1956, it was attached to Zhenyuan special office of Guizhou Province. On April 18, 1956, Yuqing county was transferred to Zunyi special office (Zunyi City in 1997). After the liberation, the administrative division of Yuqing county has been changed repeatedly. In November 2015, it was adjusted to 70 villages (communities) and 1810 Village (residents) groups in 8 towns, 1 Township and 1 Street, including 22 ethnic groups including Han, Miao, Dong, Gelao and Tujia. At the end of 2014, the population was 303919, including 267583 agricultural population and 36336 non-agricultural population.

Rice. The Dawu River arcs across the central part of the county from west to East, with steep cliffs on both sides. It is a deep valley. The northeast mountain system of Xinchang, Liangfeng, Pingchang and muyeding in the middle of the county divides the county into two major geomorphic regions, namely, northwest and Southeast. The geological structure and geomorphic landscape are different.
The geomorphology of Yuqing county shows many types, such as accumulation, erosion and denudation, dissolution and denudation. The carbonate area is characterized by dissolution and erosion. There are karst hills, karst mountains and fault valleys or fault basins. The clastic rock area is mainly denudation, mostly forming transition zone of gentle slope terrain. The light metamorphic rock is mainly denudation structural geomorphic features, forming mountain, fault Valley and other types. There are two types of accumulation landforms: River alluvial dam and erosion denudation accumulation dam. According to the genetic type, it can be divided into accumulation landform, erosion and denudation landform, dissolution landform and denudation structure landform. Yuqing county has a subtropical warm monsoon climate. There are four distinct seasons, no severe cold in winter, no severe heat in summer, and mild climate. The annual average temperature is 16.4 ℃. The average maximum temperature is 21.3 ℃ and the annual average minimum temperature is 12.9 ℃. Frost and snow is not much, frost free period of 300 days, abundant rainfall, annual average rainfall of 1056 mm.
In spring, the weather warms earlier, but it is unstable. The cold air activities are frequent. There are often low temperature and rain. There are hail and gale in some areas, but the disaster is not serious. In midsummer, there are more summer droughts and more rain in autumn. In winter, the temperature is lower and the rainfall decreases.
The annual average temperature is between 13 and 16.4c, increasing from northwest to Southeast. The low temperature area is distributed in shizichang, QIPO, wengjiao and Xinzhai, with an annual average of 13 ~ 14 ℃. The high temperature area is distributed in Wujiang River Valley and bainiba area, with an annual average of 16 ~ 16.4 ℃. The average temperature in other areas is between 14 ~ 16 ℃.

As of 2011, there are 360 species of 82 families in Yuqing County, including Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Cryptomeria fortunei, Pinus armandii, Pinus taeda and Pinus yunnanensis. There are more than 200 kinds of wild animal resources (black leaf monkey, white crowned pheasant, big civet, etc.).

As of 2011, Yuqing county has coal, clay, pyrite, phosphorus, high calcium limestone, barite, vanadium and other mineral resources. The recoverable capacity of high calcium limestone is billions of tons, the reserve of clay ore is 4 million tons, and the vanadium ore is 120000 tons.

Yuqing county and township roads are interwoven into a network, which has changed from a traffic dead corner to a traffic hub. 500 ton ships enter the Yangtze River through the golden waterway of Wujiang River, connect the Yangtze River Delta, and go directly to Shanghai. Yukai expressway, Jiang'an expressway, Daoweng expressway, and Yuzun Expressway run through the whole area. It takes only 90 minutes to drive from Kaili station of Guiyang Guangzhou and Shanghai Kunming high-speed railway stations to the county. Meitan Shiqian Expressway under construction, the proposed yuxi'an expressway Qing Fenggang expressway, Guiyang Zhengzhou high speed railway and Fuling Liuzhou railway cross the county; it takes only 90 minutes to Guiyang Airport and Zunyi airport, and only 25 minutes to Kaili airport, forming a fast and convenient modern three-dimensional traffic pattern of water, land and air.
By 2015, Jiang'an and dao'an expressways had been completed and opened to traffic, and the traffic environment of the whole county had been greatly improved. The main highway mileage of Yuqing county is 1442 km, including 85.6 km of expressways.
