Zhang Hongmei
Zhang Hongmei (July 1927 - December 2005) was born in Zhenhai, Zhejiang Province. In 1948, he appeared in his first work "spring in a small town" as his sister Dai Xiu. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he joined the Shanghai Film Studio and appeared in the film song Jingshi. Since 1963, he has been a director. His masterpieces include "flying to the Pacific Ocean" and "dead light on coral island".
Personal life
Born in Zhenhai, Zhejiang Province on July 31, 1927, his father Zhang Jinglu is a famous publisher.
In 1937, the "8.13" Anti Japanese war broke out, and the whole family fled to Chongqing.
In 1939, after graduating from the primary school attached to Bishan women's middle school, he was admitted to the drama group of Yucai School.
In 1940, he studied in the drama group of Yucai School in Chongqing. He once joined the children's drama company, China drama society. Later, he was an actor of China Art drama company, China Power drama company, Central Youth Drama Company, and Shanghai "China Power" No.2 factory. Due to the continuous persecution of the Kuomintang, a group of teachers and students were forced to leave school. Zhang Hongmei joined the children's Drama Company until it was dissolved in 1942. Later, he joined the Chinese drama society and, at the invitation of the "China Power drama company" and "China Youth Drama Company", took part in performances such as "fascist bacteria", "model of all ages", "flower of Dihua" and "chicken crowing to see the sky early".
In 1947, he returned to Shanghai to work in film and married Ding ran, a famous film actor and director. He took part in the performances of "spring in a small town", "green hills and green valleys" and other films.
After the liberation of Shanghai in 1949, he joined the Shanghai Film Studio and took part in such film performances as "the battle of the South and the north", "Song Jingshi", "the world full of spring", "blue and winter".
In 1960, he changed his job as a director. He independently directed China's first sci-fi feature film "dead light on coral island", feature film "flying to the Pacific", drama film "night trial of Red Mansions" and "soul of fragrance". He retired in 1984.
He died on December 6, 2005 at the age of 78.
