Character evaluation
In the Chinese film industry, Qin Yi and Qin Wen are both brilliant stars on the red screen. They are also close sisters with deep feelings. In February 1922, Qin Yi was born into a big feudal family in Shanghai, ranking sixth. In the winter of 1938, at the age of 16, Qin Yi fled from occupied Shanghai and went to Chongqing to join the Chinese film studio. Her colleague Xu Ke changed her original name from Qin Dehe to Qin Yi. Qin Yi began her film career from then on. Qin Wen, 6 years younger than her sixth sister Qin Yi, was born in 1928, but she had no chance to be with her sister. It was only when Japan surrendered in 1945 that the news of Qin Yi, who had been "missing" for eight years, came to her family's surprise. Qin Wen was fond of literature and art when he was young, but he could only watch the performances of the actors from the stage or screen. After Qin Yi returned to Shanghai, the two sisters were extremely intimate and stayed together all day. Qin Wen confides her wish to be an actress to her sixth sister. Qin Yi encourages her to start from the class. Qin Wen, a strong actress, has been admitted to Shanghai Drama College for further study. In the early winter of 1948, director Wu Zuguang, Qin Yi's good friend, wanted to make a satirical comedy film "hungry people walking" to expose illegal unscrupulous businessmen. He specially came to Shanghai drama academy and asked Qin Wen to play a female nurse. Although there are not many scenes, Qin Wen has taken the first step in his film career. Her original name was Qin Dehua. Wu Zuguang got inspiration from Qingwen in a dream of Red Mansions and gave her a stage name of "Qin Wen". Later, she removed the word "rain" from the word "Wen" and named it "Qin Wen".
