Lu Ren (January 1912 - November 23, 2002), formerly known as Wu Bo, was born in Tianjin. He is a director and screenwriter in mainland China and graduated from Peking University of China.
In 1950, he directed his first film the problem of thought. In 1955, he and Zhu Danxi co directed the war movie "the dawn of the fierce River". In 1959, he directed the comedy "I'm off today". In 1962, he directed the plot film Li shuangshuangshuang, which won the best feature film award of the 2nd "popular film" Hundred Flowers Award.
