Xu Xiaoxing (1935 ~) is a writer. He is from Jiaoling, Guangdong Province. He graduated from the Department of history of Sun Yat sen University in Guangzhou and from South China Normal University. In 1956, he was engaged in education in Heshan. He has been a teacher of Chinese and history in Heshan normal school, Heshan No.3 middle school, Gulao middle school and Heshan No.2 Middle School, the principal of Heshan No.2 Middle School and the principal of teacher training school. In 1986, he served as director of Heshan County Culture Bureau and chairman of Heshan County Federation of literary and art circles. He was named senior lecturer in 1988. He was also vice chairman of the fourth and fifth sessions of the Heshan county (city) CPPCC.

Characters and deeds

He is engaged in the research and writing of local literature and history in his spare time, and has published more than 60 articles in provincial, municipal and county journals. Since the 1980s, Mr. Xu has devoted himself to the work of literature and history. In his spare time, Mr. Xu has been collecting, sorting and compiling Heshan literature and history materials. I don't know how many days and nights he visited the mountains and rivers of Heshan, the places of interest in Heshan, the provincial Zhongshan Library and the old farmer's home. In this way, he accumulated over time, continued to write, persevered, and kept improving, and finally ushered in the harvest. He made gratifying achievements in the study of Heshan literature and history. Over the past few years, he has published more than 70 articles in provincial and municipal journals and series, and won awards in municipal literature selection. In 1996, the municipal Party committee and government of Jiangmen awarded Xu Xiaoxing the title of "excellent artist of Jiangmen City" and the certificate.

In recent years, his monographs include: history of Heshan (1993), history of Chenshan Village (1997), biography of song Sen (1998), history of people's revolution in Zhishan (1998), 400 poems in Heshan (1999), history of school in Zhishan (2000), selected notes on ancient prose in Heshan 》(published by Zhuhai publishing house in 2000), "Zhang Guangyuan's poetry notes" (2000) and "Kunshan crane shadow" (published by Zhuhai publishing house in 2001) are nine books in total. Mr. Xu also set up a special page of Heshan literature and history - Xu Xiaoxing on the Internet, and a special column of literature and history, which has made a positive contribution to the promotion, construction and rescue of Heshan's cultural heritage.
