He FeiGuang
He FeiGuang (1913-1997), born in Taichung, Taiwan, is a famous director and actor. In 1930, he went to Shanghai to work as an actor in a film company; in 1933, he signed a contract with Lianhua film company to work as an actor. In 1937, he signed a contract with northwest film company and later joined the Chinese film studio. In 1940, he FeiGuang shot the film "light of East Asia" in Chongqing to publicize the war of resistance against Japan, which deeply revealed that the war of Japanese aggression against China not only brought great disaster to China, but also caused great suffering to the Japanese people. On the eve of new year's day in 1941, the movie light of East Asia, which had been shot for eight months, was ceremoniously premiered in Chongqing Guotai Grand Theater, with an unprecedented scale. The majestic music played by the military band resounded through the mountain city and shocked people's hearts. The next day, Chongqing's Xinhua Daily carried out a detailed report on the film and published a short review of "great love", which compared "light of East Asia" to a sword of justice. From 1954 to 1958, he FeiGuang served as a special director in the local drama troupe; in 1959, he was sentenced to labor control for two years for the so-called counter revolutionary crime. From 1967 to 1978, he was monitored in the street. In 1979, he entered the Shanghai Museum of culture and history. He died in Shanghai on September 6, 1997.
Life figures
Play in a play
He FeiGuang was born in Taichung, Taiwan in 1913. At the age of 16, he went to Shanghai alone to make a living. First, he worked as an apprentice in a clinic set up by a fellow Taiwanese. During the Spring Festival, he went to Suzhou and met Lianhua, who was shooting the location play of "spring dream of the old capital" here. At that time, he was shooting a scene: a rural girl Zhu Ying (Chen Yanyan) was returning home with a portable basket On the way, all of a sudden, she was swept on her horse by a warlord cavalry who came up behind her - but the actor who played the warlord cavalry was not good at riding and lacked strength, and tried again and again, she could not meet the requirements of the director.
At this time, he FeiGuang, who was on the scene, became a stand in actor and completed this set of scenes excellently. He FeiGuang's performance attracted the attention of people in the film industry. Since then, Lianhua hired he FeiGuang as a contract actor, and he FeiGuang embarked on the road of acting because of an accidental opportunity. He has starred in life, storm pear flower, gadgets, wind, dawn, sports queen, Huashan romance, maternal light, goodbye, Shanghai, coma, loyal soul, Japanese spy and so on. Excellent completion of a variety of different types of villain role.
Directing plays
After that, he FeiGuang became a film director, successively directing the Anti Japanese war films "hometown protection", "light of East Asia", "majestic mountains and rivers", "blood splashing cherry blossom" and the films "a lady", "Reed flowers turning white and swallows flying", "the man who betrays the shadow", "the same fallen man from Tianya", "hualiangang" and so on. He also directed drama, Yue opera, Huai opera, Shanghai farce and other local operas, especially the farce "San Mao Sheng Yi" as an excellent play has been adapted into a film. However, he was excluded from the film industry after 49 years because of such unnecessary charges as "Taiwan spy", "Japanese spy" and "KMT dispatched personnel". Although he had gone to the front line to resist U.S. aggression and aid and joined the art troupe of the military region in Northwest China to seek self salvation, he was sentenced to two years' imprisonment in 1958 and was not completely vindicated until August 11, 1979. He FeiGuang's film career is short, but his contribution to the film industry is worth a book in the history of Chinese film. He FeiGuang's "protecting hometown" had a great influence in Southeast Asia during the Anti Japanese War; he FeiGuang's "light of East Asia" was known as a sword of righteousness; he FeiGuang's "magnificent mountains and rivers" is the only one in China that reflects the Chinese military and civil alliance He FeiGuang's hualiangang is "the first love film with the theme of Gaoshan people in Taiwan Province"; he FeiGuang's the man who betrays the shadow "has an excellent box office and great influence.
Vanishing film world
Since 1949, he FeiGuang has suddenly disappeared from the film world, and there are various contradictory sporadic reports, such as "reform through labor died in Northeast China". In fact, he FeiGuang lived in obscurity since 1949 until his death in 1997.
Mr. Li Xing, a famous Taiwan director, and the Taiwan Film Archive have done their best to help he FeiGuang realize his wish of returning to Taiwan to visit his relatives. However, just two months before he was ready to go to Taiwan, he suddenly fell ill and died.

Character experience
Taiwan
He FeiGuang was born in Taichung, Taiwan in 1913. When he was in high school, his family told him a marriage. He FeiGuang didn't want to, so he fled and moved to his uncle's house to live with his cousin he luanqi. At this time, my cousin just took part in a "Taiwan drama show" sponsored by the "Taiwan Cultural Association" for the purpose of subsidizing out of school unemployed youth. He FeiGuang joined in the rehearsal of the Taiwanese drama "dark birds" (meaning "dark without day" in Taiwanese dialect) with some patriotic youths. A month later, the drama was just performed, and it was banned by the Taiwan and Japanese authorities on the ground of "criticizing the authorities". "Taiwan drama club" was also listed as an illegal group and was dissolved. Cousins and he FeiGuang are both blacklisted by the authorities as "bad teenagers" and they are to be arrested in the correctional institution.
The brothers escaped from home again and went to the south to seek refuge with their classmates. Along the way, they feel that the future of life is boundless and dark, just like the title of the drama they play. At this time, Lai Bingnan, another male star of bird dark, told he FeiGuang that his sister and brother-in-law were making a living in Shanghai, and asked him if he would like to make a living in Shanghai with him. How tempting Shanghai was to a young Taiwanese at that time! He not only had the idea of wandering in Shanghai, but was unanimously opposed by his people. As a result, Lai Bingnan left. He didn't succeed, but he didn't give up his plan to enter Shanghai.
He FeiGuang and his elder sister said that he wanted to study in Japan and let her help her persuade her mother. The elder sister knew what he thought, but she didn't have the heart to spoil his good deeds. So she took the risk and cheated their mother into saying that her younger brother was going to continue to go to school in Tokyo. If she was willing to pay for such things, her mother was happy and agreed. At that time, Taiwan was in the Japanese occupation era. Anyone who wanted to go to Chinese mainland would have to apply for a passport to the Governor General Office of Taiwan. He FeiGuang secretly went to apply and waited for three months, but he didn't give a reply. He was afraid that his family would find out the truth, so he didn't wait and went on board in the name of studying in Japan. Of course, he inquired in advance that the ship would pass through Shanghai, so when he arrived in Shanghai, he quietly abandoned the ship, logged in and smuggled into Shanghai. That year, he FeiGuang was only 16 years old.
Shanghai
At that time, many ships used both passenger and freight. When they arrived in Shanghai, they would unload their cargo at Wusongkou, which was convenient for transferring from the Yangtze River to various ports in the mainland. People want to get off the ship at Shiliupu of Huangpu River, so the Customs was at Shiliupu at that time. He was very clever. He knew all these things, so when he got to Wusongkou, he got off the boat quietly, and then took a ride to the city, so he escaped the customs inspection. He went downtown to find Lai Jinluan, Lai Bingnan's sister. This elder sister lives in Hongkou, Sichuan North Road and Wujin Road. His brother-in-law's name is Luo Kepeng. He was born in Nantou, Taiwan in 1909. At the age of 16, he began acting in Taiwan. In 1926, he came to Shanghai for development and was admitted to Fudan film company as an actor. Because of his martial arts skills, he became the action movie star of Zhang huichong, the martial arts star at that time. Sister Lai and his wife are very warm to He Fei Guang and are very grateful to him. They recognize that Lai Jin Luan Guang has become a sister and they are brothers and sisters of different surnames.
He Fei just entered the country illegally. Therefore, Luo Kepeng repeatedly warned him not to reveal his Taiwanese identity. Because at that time, the Mainlanders looked down upon the Taiwanese. First, they were slaves of subjugation and thought they were in collusion with the Japanese. Second, some Taiwanese were involved in gangsterism, drug trafficking, brothels and casinos in Shanghai. So at that time, people in Shanghai did not like Taiwanese. Isn't there a curse in Shanghai dialect called "taibazi"? It was the Taiwanese who scolded at that time. In the eyes of the Chinese people, Taiwanese, like Korean, are slaves of national subjugation, which everyone avoids. Luo Kepeng asked him to lie that he was a Fujianese. He FeiGuang originally intended to follow his father's wishes to study medicine, so he entered the school of traditional Chinese medicine. But after entering school, he found that his language was not good, his Mandarin was not good, and the teachers in Shanghai spoke Shanghainese again. He couldn't understand it at all, so he had to drop out of school because he had to work very hard. Luo Kepeng also introduced him to a pharmacy run by a Taiwanese doctor as an apprentice. Because it was far away from home, I moved from Hongkou to the city center. About today's Yan'an east road is just at the junction of the British and French concession. I live in a drugstore. Once, a handsome boy came to the drugstore to sell medicine. This person is Xu Jiahui "Lianhua" film company
