Character evaluation
Yang Jie is the first generation director and the first female producer of Chinese TV. She witnessed the process of Chinese TV from black and white to color, from live broadcasting on stage to processing into TV art films. She is also a strong woman, brilliant, made an important contribution to CCTV. Her "journey to the west" set an example for the latecomers, and her study of the original work reached an amazing level. After the journey to the west, she never made a work that can surpass this one. Relying on this play alone, she entered history. (comments on Netease Entertainment, morning news, actor Chi chongrui, Nanfang Daily and Beijing News)
Yang Jie is a temperament beauty, sharp talk, talk about the past as if light. (comments by director Zhang Yang) the rigorous attitude towards works of art is always worth learning from every creator. (actor Yao Chen comments) the lyrics of the song "love for my daughter" were written by Mr. Yan Su, but during the recording process, Yang Jie boldly revised the lyrics. Although the overall meaning has not changed, but the wording is more delicate, completely into a woman's heart. Her involvement in love with my daughter reflects a realm of TV drama production in the 1980s. Yang Jie herself loves literature. Her love for classical literature and her thinking about life are expressed through this poem. (review of Beijing News)
