In 2002, Li Dahai was brought into the film and television industry by his father Li Chengru. He played Zhang Haidong in the TV series the story of criminal police.
In 2005, he played Hu Dongbo, the son of Hu bigang, vice president of Haining group, in the urban suspense "adventure life" directed by Huang Lijia.
In May 2006, Li Dahai took part in the TV play "Shangri La on the run" directed by Zhou Xiaowen; in July, he graduated from Shengji Art College; in October, he signed the contract for "CCTV film and television".
In October 2007, Li Dahai released his first record Haizi. In April 2008, Li Dahai came to Nanjing to publicize the 22 episode TV series "young chess king", which started shooting because of the recommendation of his father Li Chengru.

In November 2013, Li Dahai joined the youth inspirational reality show "I'm not a star" produced by Zhejiang satellite TV, and finally won the third place in the finals.
In February 2014, Li Dahai and Qiao Qiao visited Heilongjiang satellite TV's interactive entertainment program "challenge the wall of celebrities"; in March, they participated in the recording of the public welfare theme song "dream set sail".

Personal life
Li Dahai's father is actor Li Chengru. When Li Dahai was 6 years old, his parents divorced because of personality differences. Later, Li Dahai lived with his mother.
