He Wei (April 19, 1922 - January 10, 2011), formerly known as he Jingye, was born on April 19, 1922. He is a famous contemporary writer, whose ancestral home is Dinghai, Zhejiang Province. He was born in April 1922 in henglongtang, beside the bridge of the number one scholar in Dinghai. He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from St. John's University in Shanghai in 1943. In 1945, he took part in revolutionary work, successively served as a reporter of Shanghai Wen Wei Po, a screenwriter of Shanghai film and Literature Research Institute, a screenplay writer of Shanghai, Jiangnan film studio, leader of Fujian film studio, a professional writer of Fujian Federation of literary and art circles and writers' Association, and a first-class writer of literary creation. The fourth director of the Chinese Writers Association, honorary member of the National Committee of the Chinese Writers Association, vice president and consultant of the Chinese prose society, vice chairman and honorary chairman of the Fujian Writers Association.

He began to write in 1937. His first work, road, was published in the column of youth literature and art, a magazine of middle school students edited by Ye Shengtao. During the isolated island period of Shanghai, he wrote articles in Yibao, Yibao weekly, Wenwei Po and the supplement of Damei daily successively, and participated in the literature and art communication movement led by the party. At the same time, he was appointed as the literature and Art Weekly of Dawei daily. In 1940, he published his first collection, Qingyi River. He joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1959.

He Wei's prose often focuses on writing people. In his early years, he successively engaged in news and film literature script work, which made full ideological, life accumulation and artistic preparation for his future prose creation. In 1956, his essay "the second examination" was published in the people's daily, which aroused strong repercussions among readers. It was included in Chinese Textbooks of China and Southeast Asian countries, adapted into radio plays, radio novels and films, and translated into a variety of foreign languages. In 1979, more than 20 years later, this article is still charming, and it was used as a model material for composition rewriting in the national college entrance examination. After smashing the gang of four, in January 1977, he published his first essay Linjiang Lou Ji in the people's daily, which had been discontinued for 11 years. It was strongly welcomed by readers, translated into English and French and introduced abroad. At the same time, it was recorded in history as the first Lyric essay in the new era of China. After that, he published more than ten essays, such as "say hello to the unknown hero" and "meditation and memory of spring night". In 1979, Lin Chuang Ji, a collection of essays, was selected and published.
