Sun Jian
Sun Jian (1936 - November 1997), born in Dingxing, Hebei Province, joined the Communist Party of China in December 1958.
He was vice premier of the State Council.
Life of the characters
In May 1951, he took part in the work. He joined the Communist Party of China in December 1958. Once worked as a worker in Tianjin Dacheng electric saw factory and Tianjin China Machinery Factory. After June 1956, he served as a worker, cadre, Vice Minister of the Armed Forces Department, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Secretary of the Party committee, and first deputy director of the Revolutionary Committee of Tianjin internal combustion engine plant. In September 1970, he was deputy director of the Revolutionary Committee of Tianjin First Machinery Bureau. In January 1973, he was deputy director of Tianjin production headquarters. After November of the same year, he served as member and Secretary of the Standing Committee of the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee. In January 1974, he served as deputy director of Tianjin Revolutionary Committee. He was vice premier of the State Council from January 1975 to March 1978. In March 1978, he was removed from his post and returned to work in Tianjin Machinery Factory. In May 1990, he served as chief economist and manager of mechanical and Electrical Department of North China company of China National Machinery Industry Supply and Marketing Corporation.
The death of a character
In November 1997, he died in Tianjin. He was 61.
