Li Zhibing, male, graduated from the Department of physics of Sun Yat sen University in 1983 with a bachelor's degree. He received a doctor's degree in 1989 and stayed in the university to teach. He was employed as an associate professor in 1991, a professor in 1995 and a doctoral supervisor in 1998. In 1993, he won a Humboldt scholarship to study statistical physics at Siegen University in Germany. In 1995, he visited the International Center for Theoretical Physics (the Abdus Salam i.c.t.p.) and became a special member of the center. He mainly studies theoretical physics, non-equilibrium statistics and small quantum subsystems. He is a lecturer in the introduction to theoretical physics, quantum mechanics, etc. He has published a large number of academic papers and won the State Council special allowance and other honorary awards.
