Early experience
Wang Tao, born in Anqing City, Anhui Province, is a child of a military family. His grandfather, LV Shigong, was a hero of the Anti Japanese War who had been interviewed by Chairman Mao seven times. He had participated in the three major battles of Huaihai, Pingjin and crossing the Yangtze River, the first batch of people's navies of new China, and a deputy to the Ninth National People's Congress. His aunt Lu Guixiang and uncle Lu Jun also served in the army for 10 years and two years.
Influenced by his grandfather, Wang Tao was strict with himself when he was a child. He successively served as class leader, mathematics committee member and other class cadres in junior high school. In 1998, by chance, he was selected by the examiners of Anhui art school and admitted to the Huangmei opera performance class of Anhui art school. He received four years of Huangmei opera performance training. In 1998 and 1999, he participated in Anhui opera and ZheZiXi on behalf of Anhui Academy of Arts for two consecutive years. He has been in Longtao, squatted in Beiying factory, worked as a waiter, sold stereo, lived in basement and underpass, and spent one yuan a day on living expenses.
