Dai Chang, a native of Lantian, Shaanxi Province, was born in 1943. He graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1964 and later joined the local style painting and calligraphy society established by Mr. Shi Lu. The painting style inherits Chang'an painting school, and his works have been selected in national art exhibitions for many times, and won the second prize. In 1996 and 1997, he held art exhibitions in South Korea and the United States, and was awarded by the mayor of Monterey.
