Early experience

Wang Zhen grew up in zitongqiao, Chengdu. He played erhu, Cello and other musical instruments in primary school, and then gave up one after another. He was also considered by his teachers to have no musical talent, which made him hate music for a time. But his parents insisted that he learn music, until he came into contact with the clarinet, he regained his confidence. At the age of 9, he won the "Golden Panda - Sichuan children's Wind Music Competition Gold Award". When he was 10 years old, he performed solo with Sichuan children's Symphony Orchestra and started his career on the art stage. At the age of 11, he was admitted to the attached middle school of Sichuan Conservatory of music and won the outstanding professional achievement award for six consecutive years. At the age of 15, he went to Japan to participate in the Nagasaki Youth Music Festival as a performing guest and played the Chinese work "the song of the horse". In 1995, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of music. In 1999, he became the first master of clarinet in the Central Conservatory of music.

Acting experience

In 2002, "dialogue between Clarinet and erhu" by Wang Zhen and erhu performer Ma Xiaohui was performed in different parts of China. In 2003, he released his performance style music album "chizi garden" and nominated for the best performance album of the 15th Taiwan Golden Melody Award. In 2012, he performed Chinese contemporary Clarinet Concerto for the first time in the world in cooperation with Beijing Symphony Orchestra at Beijing Concert Hall. In 2013, he cooperated with Guqin player Zhao Xiaoxia and dancer Sheng Shidong to perform "Yangguan Sandie". In 2015, he signed a contract with universal music and released the performance music album "one day", in which Tan Weiwei was invited to sing with his work "the past". Personal life

In 2001, Wang Zhen met Liu Xuan and established a love relationship. In 2012, he registered for marriage in the United States. On December 8, 2013, she married Liu Xuan in Hong Kong, China. On October 8, 2015, his wife Liu Xuan gave birth to a baby boy. On August 10, 2020, his wife Liu Xuan gave birth to a baby girl.

In June 2007, three "soul washing public welfare concerts" were held in Sichuan people's Art Theater. All the income from the performance was donated to the out of school children in Bazhong City, Sichuan Province.
