Wang Xueren, male, Han nationality, was born in February 1946 in Songming, Yunnan Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in April 1966 and began to work in October 1964. College degree.

He served as member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of Yunnan provincial Party committee in March 1998. He served as deputy secretary and Secretary General of Yunnan provincial Party committee in July 1998. From February 2001 to June 2006, deputy secretary of Yunnan provincial Party committee from June 2006 to January 2007, Secretary of the Party group of Yunnan provincial CPPCC. from January 2007 to February 2012, chairman and Secretary of the Party group of the CPPCC Yunnan Provincial Committee. from February 2012 to March 2013, deputy director of the ethnic and Religious Committee of the CPPCC National Committee.
