work experience
Zhou Changjiang was born into a worker's family in Shanghai in 1950. Similar to the growing experience of many painters, he has been fond of painting since childhood. In primary school, under the patient guidance of a good teacher, he began to participate in the art group activities in the children's palace. In middle school, he went to the art group as usual. The rise of the cultural revolution also provided him with a lot of exercise opportunities - writing big characters, painting posters, and later painting oil paintings. From cooperation with others to independent completion, from model play to leader image, one by one, he never tired of it. After graduation, Zhou Changjiang was assigned to a construction engineering company as a worker. But a chance made him pick up the brush again and draw a large picture of the leader, which won everyone's respect and praise. Finally, he regained his childhood's most genuine desire and enthusiasm and continued to draw. After being transferred to the trade union, he took part in the workers' spare time art creation activities and began to contact some professional people. His dream of becoming a painter once again sparkled, and his desire to enter the art academy became more and more strong, and finally came true in the summer of 1975. In 1975, he was admitted to the oil painting class of the Fine Arts Department of Shanghai Academy of drama. After graduation, he was assigned to the painting group of Shanghai art design company and became a "portrait worker". At that time, he painted a lot of leader posters, but he was not willing to finish the tasks of the company mechanically every day. After he finished the monthly target, he would do his own creation in the rest of the time. In 1985, he was transferred to Shanghai oil painting and Sculpture Institute to engage in professional creation. He once served as vice president, deputy secretary and director of Art Committee. In 2003, he was transferred to the Art Education Department of East China Normal University as a discipline leader. His major is oil painting, and his research achievements are as follows
