Chen Jiaying, male, born in August 1943, native place: Jiangsu, associate professor of university culture.

At present, he works in the steel making Department of School of materials, Shanghai University. He graduated from metallurgy department of Shanghai Institute of technology in 1965. After graduation, he worked in converter workshop of No.3 plant of Shanghai Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. He was transferred back to his alma mater at the end of 1973. On the one hand, he was engaged in teaching and on the other hand, he began scientific research. He won the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award in 1996 and the second prize of Shanghai industry university research excellent project award in 1997.
