In 2004, her parents asked her to go back to Taiwan to help her family business. Xiao Ying didn't want to go back to Taiwan empty handed. Not long after acting as an agent, Xiao Ying decided to turn from acting as an agent to managing channels. So she and her friends jointly invested in Zhanyuan Industrial Company and opened the first Japanese beauty channel, named Tokyo Beauty Institute.
After opening the store, Xiao Ying found that there were also agents for the same products in Taiwan. As the cost of purchasing goods directly from Taiwan distributors is lower than that of agents, and the quantity is easy to control, there are 500 to 600 kinds of goods in Tokyo beauty, and now two thirds of them are purchased directly from Taiwan. By starting her own business, Xiao Ying realized that it was not easy to run a business, and she cherished the "small kingdom" she had founded.
