Yang Dan, born on November 1, 1973 in Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, is the weather forecast host of CCTV. He was admitted to the broadcasting Department of Beijing Broadcasting University in 1991 and graduated in 1995.
In 1995, he joined Huafeng Group and served as the program host of weather forecast of CCTV comprehensive channel. In 2002, he participated in Sohu's celebrity appointment. On March 23, 2003, an on-site signature office was set up in front of the National Meteorological Center building to sign for the audience who came to visit the weather forecast production process. On March 23, 2004, he served as the host of "first impression" in the morning of financial channel.
