Sun Mingzhu
Sun Mingzhu, born in Beijing on May 12, 1944, is a Dan actor of Shaanxi Peking Opera Theater. He is an art director of Shaanxi Peking Opera Troupe, a national first-class actor, a member of China Dramatist Association, and executive director of Shaanxi Dramatist Association. He graduated from Shaanxi opera school in 1965. Apprentices: Chen Lifang, Wang Yuanxi, Deng Deqin, Chen Yingqiu.
Profile
In 1960, when he was in school, he was treated well by Shang Xiaoyun and accepted him as an apprentice, which is quite true to Shang. He has performed Mu Guiying, anti Jinbing, drunken concubine and other plays. After learning from Mr. Shang Xiaoyun, he specialized in Shangpai, and rehearsed such plays as hanmingfei, lianghongyu, Shuangyang princess, shisan Mei, scared mad after losing her son, Emei sword, Jinshan Temple, duanqiting, pohongzhou, Mo Dai, Emei restaurant, Da Qinglong, Da Mengliang, etc. Since 1996, he has been invited to participate in the work of music and image matching of Chinese Peking Opera, and has recorded many representative plays of his mentor Shang Xiaoyun. He has performed and lectured in Taiwan many times, which has promoted the artistic exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
Sun Mingzhu understands the essence of Shangpai no matter in appearance, singing, posture and martial arts. She is the best successor of Shangpai. Almost all Shangpai plays are matched by her and cause great popularity.
Good at plays
The frequently performed plays include thirteen younger sisters, Jinshan Temple, Shuangyang princess, Zhaojun's departure from the fortress, hanmingfei, lianghongyu, emeijian, daqinglong, pohongzhou, damengliang, nvxia in green, qinliangyu, etc.; the modern historical plays Xiaodaohui and hongdengzhao.
Awards
In May 1987, the first Shaanxi Art Festival Performance "double lock mountain" won the first prize of performance;
In March 1991, the performance "zhanjinshan" in the "Sun Cup" National Opera Invitational Competition of five provinces in Northwest China won the honor award for performance.
Performance style
Most of the characters in the play are vigorous, bold and valiant ancient women.
Many famous artists and critics, such as Zhang Junqiu, Wu suqiu, Li Yanxiu, Liu Jiying and Zhu Jiazhen, have highly praised sun Mingzhu's performing arts. They think that she has the charm of Shangpai and is the outstanding one among the successors of Shangpai.
