Yu Ming, a native of Zigong, Sichuan Province, was born in March 1913. As a child, he loved calligraphy, fine arts and literature. In his early years, he studied in Wuhan University. The book is strong and vigorous, and is good at running grass and official script. He was vice chairman of Zhejiang Artists Association. He is now a member of China Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of Zhejiang Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of Zhejiang Federation of literary and art circles, chairman of Zhejiang retired cadres Calligraphy Association, director of Zhejiang Writers Association, director of Chinese poetry society, President of West Lake poetry society, and consultant of Lanting Calligraphy Association.

Main achievements

his works have been selected into "the second national exhibition of calligraphy and seal cutting works", "international calligraphy exhibition in Henan", "Chinese and foreign calligraphy exhibition in commemoration of the 120th anniversary of Sun Yat Sen's birth", international dinosaur Lantern Festival calligraphy exhibition in Zigong, Sichuan, "Silk Road" Calligraphy and painting exhibition in Xinjiang, and "Chinese calligraphy and painting exhibition" held in Vancouver International Buddhist Guanyin temple and Yuncheng collection in June 1987. in October 1987, he attended the "Sino Japanese Lanting book fair" and exhibited his works. His works have been included in Zhejiang calligraphy anthology and various exhibition collections, and collected or inscribed by museums, art museums and memorial halls.
