Liu Henian
(1826-1902) Donggao, born in Matan. He was elected in 1873. He has successively served as a Confucian instructor in Qingshui County, a professor in Taozhou department, and a county magistrate in Sichuan Province. The county people give umbrellas to all the people. Later, he was employed as a student of Gaolan Academy for more than 20 years. In the seventh year of Guangxu (1881), one ancestral hall and three main halls were built in Matan, with one tree inscription and three hanging plaques.
Profile
His second son Liu shaogao (1876-1957), named Shu, was later named kongya. He graduated from Gansu Normal University. He has been a teacher of Lanzhou normal school, Lanzhou middle school and Lanzhou women's normal school, teaching Chinese for nearly 30 years.
Life of the characters
In 1953, he was employed as a librarian of Gansu literature and History Research Institute. He is the author of "Lanzhou Longwei Piedmont collection" and so on.
