Meng Han lived in Kangxi and Yongzheng years of the Qing Dynasty. He was a 16-year-old scholar with the name of Xiyuan and Yanggu South Street. In 1672 (the 11th year of Kangxi), he was appointed to Laiyang county.

In 1668 (the 25th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign), Meng Han returned home because of his mother's death. He didn't know the doctor. He began to pay attention to Zhuge Liang's medical works in Su Wen and Mai Jing. He was also instructed by Jiao Gong, a southerner, and became a famous doctor. He is good at diseases and gynecology. At the end of the three-year mourning period, Qidong (the name of the old county, which now belongs to Zouping, boxing and Gaoqing counties in Shandong Province) was given additional instruction. Later, he died in the government.

There are many medical works left by Meng Han, all of which are scattered among the people. Today, there are still five kinds of preserved works, such as "yipinxinyu record", "Mengshi Gynecology", "maihui", "tongjinglun", "pestilence summary". Yipinxintiao Yilu is the crystallization of his many years of intensive research on medical theory and clinical practice experience. Each disease contains the principle, method and prescription, with its own prescription and local single prescription. Mencius gynecology is still of high clinical value in the treatment of menstrual, vaginal, fetal and parturient diseases.
