In early 1959, Liu Shikun played in the auditorium of the Central Conservatory of music, and ye Shuai, accompanied by his daughter, came to watch. After leaving, the appearance of Ye Xiangzhen lingered in Liu Shikun's mind and could not disappear. At this time, Liu Shikun received a letter, which was a poem specially written for him, with the signature of "Ye Xiangzhen". As a reply, he sent his piano band to Ye Xiangzhen. In the exchange of poetry and music, love begins quietly. In 1962, they were officially married. After the wedding, Liu Shikun, as a member of Ye Shuai's family, officially moved into the Marshal's family. In 1964, ye Xiangzhen gave birth to a lively and lovely fat son Maomao.
