Yang Shaolin
Yang Shaolin, born in April 1952 in Hebei Province, is a Han nationality native to Liangshan, Shandong Province. Deputy to the 13th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, former vice president and Secretary General of Shanghai Dramatist Association.
On September 29, 2015, Yang Shaolin was elected as the new chairman of Shanghai Dramatists Association.

Yang Shaolin, general manager of Shanghai Drama Art Center, Secretary of the general Party branch, vice chairman and Secretary General of Shanghai Dramatist Association, first class actor. Director of China Dramatist Association, executive director of China Drama Art Research Association, member of Shanghai TV Artists Association. In 1976, he graduated from the performance Department of Shanghai Academy of drama with a college degree. He has successively served as president and Secretary of the general Party branch of Shanghai People's Art Theater. He has been the general manager and Secretary of the general Party branch of Shanghai Drama Art Center since January 1995. Since December 27, 2007, he has also served as vice president of performing arts center of Shanghai culture and broadcasting group.
He has played major and important roles in more than 50 plays, movies and TV plays.
