Wang chitao was born in 1949. In 1971, he worked in the literature and art criticism room of Jilin Province. In 1975, he was transferred to the general office of Changchun Film Studio. In 1978, he studied in Beijing Film Academy. In 1984, he was the director of Changchun Film Studio. National level director.

Over the past 30 years, Wang chitao has edited and directed nearly 200 films and TV series, such as iron man, and published hundreds of articles, such as "notes on heroes", "on the tradition of Chinese painting" and "on the postmodern context".
