In 1953, Gong Xibin was born into an ordinary worker's family in Harbin.

On August 22, 1972, the actors and actresses troupe of Changchun Film Studio came to Harbin to recruit actors. As soon as Gong Xibin graduated from No.91 middle school, he went to take the exam and became an actor of Changying.

After entering Changying, Gong Xibin's first film was "entrepreneurship", in which he played Qin Fafen. The first award-winning film is Ji Hongchang, in which he plays Zhao Danian.
