Character evaluation
The works directed by Jiang Lifen are unique with their aestheticism, touching poetic temperament, painting style of light and shadow, as well as their attention to details. They are regarded by critics as the best female directors. Jiang Dao moved his poems and paintings of Jiangnan and the customs of the Republic of China to the camera, which made people feel the fresh and elegant charm of Jiangnan. He controlled the oppressive atmosphere with simple camera language, integrated some Jiangnan aesthetics, the landscape and people of Jiangnan, and the feelings and friendship of Jiangnan. In the short film bride, the whole shooting scene is beautiful and touching, which is consistent with director Jiang Lifen's consistent style. She is very skillful in dealing with the transformation of time and space. When the bride is carried out of the bedroom by the bridegroom, she looks back and looks around, which is amazing.
