Early experience
Qian Xiaohao was born and raised in Hong Kong. His ancestral home is Foshan, Guangdong Province. When he was 10 years old, Qian Xiaohao began to learn from his neighbor Xian linxu. At the age of 14, Qian Xiaohao was courted by the film company for winning a bronze medal in the Kung Fu challenge arena. In 1979, at the age of 15, Qian Xiaohao applied for Shao's martial arts training class as a ticket player for two months. It happened that director Zhang Che chose a role for Shaolin and Wudang. Among the 60 or 70 actors, he was selected as an actor and entered the Zhangjia class. He became the fifth generation disciple of Zhang Che and the last disciple of Zhang Che.
Acting experience
In 1979, he was selected by director Zhang Che to play Wei Xinghong in the first film Shaolin and Wudang. Although this is his first film, the salary is higher than that of ordinary workers. In the same year, although Qian Xiaohao was lucky enough to enter the industry, he was not born at the right time. He did not have a solid position in Dahong. His mentor Zhang Che was on the decline, and it was only a few years before Shao's production stopped.
In 1980, he took part in the film "ten tigers and five tigers in Guangdong" directed by Zhang Che. In the same year, with his outstanding performance in "ten tigers and five tigers in Guangdong", he took the lead in the action film "flying fox" directed by Zhang Che for the first time.
In 1985, with Lin Zhengying and Xu Guanying, he starred in the horror comedy Mr. zombie, which was produced and released by Jiahe film company. In the film, he played the apprentice of Jiushu, Qiu Sheng, who was quick and clever. The reason why he took part in Mr. zombie came from a trip to Phuket. Qian Xiaohao spent several days with Hong Jinbao. After returning to Hong Kong, Hong Jinbao recommended Qian Xiaohao to make a zombie film, so he joined the shooting of Mr. zombie.
In 1986, when Shao and Jiahe co filmed "yuanzhenxia and Wesley", the company appointed him to play Male No.1 yuanzhenxia, and Chow Yun fat, who played Wesley, was still a supporting role. In the same year, he also played the role of the tomb robber Wangcai in the follow-up work of Mr. zombie. The film shows the style of black comedy, and naturally has achieved good box office results. It is considered a more successful film in the follow-up work.
In 1989, he co starred with Lin Zhengying, LV Fang, Wu Junru, Lou Nanguang and Maria in the horror comedy "Taoist Yimei", playing a disciple ah Hao of Taoist Yimei. In the same year, he also took part in the comedy eight treasures, playing Bruce Hong.

Personal life
In 1990, Qian Xiaohao and his ex-wife Guo Xiuyun married in Australia; on August 18 of the same year, their son Qian Jingfeng (formerly known as Qian Qifu) was born; in 1993, they separated peacefully. He married his second wife Qiu Qianming in 2001, and his son Qian Yingde was born on January 10, 2002.
