Working experience

After graduating from Peiping Yuying middle school, he entered Bayi drama school. After finishing his studies, he went to work in Shanghai. He first worked as a proofreader of phonetic symbols in textbooks in the Commercial Press, and then as a Mandarin proofreader in Tianyi company. At the same time, he also worked as a field recorder, assistant director, screenwriter and editor. During the Anti Japanese War, he came to Hong Kong to join Nanyang film studio. In 1949, he entered Shao's career as a director. In the early 1950s, he began to shoot Fang Shiyu series for Shao, which was a great success. At the same time, he is also a very outstanding character actor. His films are numerous and he is a senior staff member of Shao family. In 1961, Shao founded the southern experimental troupe, and Gu Wenzong served as the head of Shao's southern experimental troupe. He carefully managed the troupe's actor training classes, and cultivated many talents, such as Li Jing, Yue Hua, Luo lie, pan yingzi, Zheng Peipei, Wu Ma, Dilong, etc.

Mr. Gu Wenzong is an old artist who impressed me most.
