Early experience
In 1968, after admitted to Hebei Bangzi troupe, he learned and practiced childlike skills. In 1972, at the age of 16, Du Xudong was recruited into the army as a literary and art soldier. Later, he became a propaganda officer in the Propaganda Department of the Navy Command. He was given the opportunity to study oil painting in the junior college class of the Central Academy of fine arts. After graduation, Du Xudong was transferred to Navy magazine as an art editor for several years. Since 1985, Du Xudong has been transferred to Haizheng drama troupe as an actor.
