Zong you was born on January 16, 1913 in Tianjin. In his early years, he founded parrot troupe in Tianjin and acted in Xinhua and Shanghai Lianhua film company
Personal profile
In 1944, he joined the China Film Company and took part in shooting "magnificent mountains and rivers". He also served as the leader of the performance team of the air force Shenying drama company and the director of the fifth team of the Shanghai salvation drama team. He has a high position in the drama industry of Chongqing.
After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he returned to Shanghai to work as a film director. At first, he worked as an assistant director in the second power plant of China. When he arrived in Taiwan, he made films such as "wake up from a nightmare". Later, because of the merger of the Chinese film studio and the agricultural education film company, he transferred to the agricultural education film company.
