Early experience
In 1980, he came from an ordinary family in Hebei Province, China. Out of his love for music, he formed his own band at the age of 19. In 2001, he was admitted to the performance Department of the Central Academy of drama. After graduation, he acted in a number of films and TV plays. Many years of performing experience has accumulated rich artistic self-cultivation and multiple edification, which makes him have a new pursuit of art. Shooting his own films has become a lingering dream.
Acting experience
In 1999, he filmed the suspense TV series "the storm of the police" directed by Huang Jianzhong, playing Xiao Wang. In 2002, he acted as Meng fan in the comedy "who says I don't care" directed by Huang Jianxin, which is also his first film. In 2004, he took part in the rural inspirational drama "children of the red flag canal" directed by Cai Xiaoqing as Lao Wang. In 2006, he played the sixth brother in the family love drama "never forget" directed by Gao Wei. In October 2007, fan played Chen Xiaoyang in the emotional drama "one kiss" adapted from the novel of the same name.
In May 2009, fan Haolun took part in the shooting of Zheng Shaofeng's ancient costume comedy "beggar heroes", in which he played the second emperor; in September, he played in the rural theme TV series "the Yellow River bank is my home", portraying Feng Xizi, who came from the countryside to work in the city; in the TV series "shield", he played Zhao Nan successfully.

In 2015, he directed his first self-directed crime type film "where are you?" on September 5, his self-directed film "where are you" won the official exhibition of Chinese films at the 73rd Venice Film Festival, won the red maple leaf Award (best film, best director, best actress, best photography) at the 4th Vancouver Chinese Film Festival, and won the 25th Golden Rooster hundred flowers film festival In October, he won the shortlist of new directors in the 9th new film festival.
In December 2016, he directed the film where are you, which won the outstanding film award, outstanding director award and outstanding actress award of the 13th Guangzhou University Film Festival.
In February 2017, he directed the film where are you, which won the best Chinese film award at the International Film Festival in La Paz, South America. In April, the self-made and self directed film where are you, directed by him, became the opening film of the sub venue of the 24th Beijing University Students Film Festival, and was shortlisted in the "focus on the future" unit of Beijing International Film Festival.
On August 2, 2019, my hero, an inspirational film directing urban emotions, was selected as the opening film of the 7th Vancouver International Chinese Film Festival. The film festival held a global premiere. At the same time, the film also won five awards at the 7th Vancouver International Chinese Film Festival, namely "most popular actress Jing Ke", "best actor Lian Jin", "best supporting actress Bai Luna" and "best sound effect Award" and "best action design award". On August 29, Venice time, I took my hero to the 76th Venice Film Festival and held its premiere at the Venice International Film Festival in the Italian water city. On October 15, he participated in the sixth Silk Road International Film Festival with his work "My Hero", and the film made its debut in the mainland film festival.
In May 2020, he starred in the TV series special task with Jing Ke and Zhang Chenguang, in which he played Li Wentao, an intern policeman.
