Acting experience
Zhu Jiang, whose real name is Zhu Shidong, is a Cantonese. He grew up in Hong Kong. At the end of 1959, he was admitted to Lingguang company and became a basic actor. After four months of training, he performed for the first time the Cantonese film "strange talk in the middle of the night", followed by "the elevator case". Later, he participated in the performance for many years in the era of black and white film. He joined TVB as a dubber in 1969.
In the series, he basically played a leading role, but when he returned to the film industry after the 1980s, he mostly appeared as a supporting role. Zhu Jiang's loyal and weak role as an agent in Fang Shiyu and the image of Jet Li's angry father in Fang Shiyu are deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. He was nominated for best supporting actor in the 9th Hong Kong Film Awards for his film "two men in blood".
From 1994 to 1996, Zhu Jiang retired and ended his 28 year relationship with the host and guest of wireless TV. He emigrated to Vancouver, Canada with his immediate family members, and then devoted himself to studying Buddhism.

Zhu Jiang is a veteran actor in Hong Kong. In the golden age of the television industry, he, Zheng Shaoqiu, Liu Songren and Xia Yu were all well-known young people in Hong Kong in the 1970s.
