Wang Wei
Wang Wei, born in Shanghai on October 8, 1974, is a model, actor and host. Former female artist of Hong Kong Asia TV and runner up of "Miss Asia" in 1993. The main works are "Hong Kong strange case record", "Wanjiadenghuo" and so on.
Personal experience
Wang Wei once participated in the 1990 ATV "Hong Kong beautiful girl competition". At that time, she was a senior in secondary school. After losing the election, she performed "cousin Q" and other plays for ATV, but she did not become an ATV artist. After she failed to be shortlisted for Miss Hong Kong, Wang Wei ran for "Miss Asia" in 1993 and successfully won the second place. Due to the departure of many Huadan from ATV at that time, Wang Wei was immediately valued by ATV and once became one of the most popular Huadan. The dramas appointed as the heroine include 97 chameleon, the rise of the godfather of China, sleeping with wolves and the story of fat cat II.
After 2000, due to the decrease of homemade dramas and the impact of new people, Wang Wei's number of heroines decreased. Later, she played more negative roles and left ATV in 2006.
