Early experience
Wang Qingxiang was born in an ordinary worker's family in Beijing on February 20, 1949.
In 1960, because he was good at dancing, singing and acting, he entered the Haizheng literary and Art Troupe and became a dancer.
In 1964, he joined the propaganda team of Mao Zedong Thought as an accompanist in a band, playing flute and percussion music. When rehearsing with the actors, they learned to act, recite, Peking Opera and Lu opera.
