Early experience
Lin Jiahua was admitted to the first juvenile police training school in 1974, and won the silver flute award, the highest honor of the school. After graduation, he became a policeman, and then became the host of the program "juvenile police call" (the first generation). Later, it was appreciated by Li's TV producer, Mai Dangxiong, and entered the TV circle to develop and join Li's TV industry.
Acting experience
In 1978, Lin Jiahua appeared in the era drama crocodile tears directed by Mai Dangxiong.
In 1980, Lin Jiahua switched to TVB and appeared in TVB's early Republic drama "Shanghai beach sequel", in which he played Guo Zhenchang.
In 1987, Lin Jiahua, Chen min'er, Liu Meijuan and Wu Zhenyu starred in the TV series the true story of Ajiao directed by Zeng shaozong.
In 1990, with Guo Jin'an, Luo Jialiang and Zhou Haimei, he played Zhang shunpin in Hong Kong TVB's fashion novella on the road to success. In the same year, he starred in the time travel romantic comedy back to unmarried.

In 2015, the horror suspense TV series "amazing century" starring Lin Jiahua, Liang Xiaobing, Downing and Zhou Junwei premiered. In 2016, he took part in the online drama Infernal Affairs, in which he played Chen Jinhui.
In August 2017, Lin Jiahua, Xue Jiayan, Li Nuoyi and other co stars in the family comedy "brilliant mother" broadcast on Hong Kong TVB jade.
