Detailed introduction
At the Nagano Winter Olympic Games, sun Dandan only participated in the women's 3000 meter relay, united with his teammates and finally won the second place. And two and a half months before this game, sun Dandan ankle and rib fracture.
Sun Dandan took part in the world championships for the first time in 1996. At the age of 17, she won the third place in the 1500m, the fifth place in the all-round and the second place in the relay. Since then, sun Dandan has participated in the world championships for five consecutive years, but all played in team competitions. Sun Dandan contributed a lot to China's winning the relay race from 1998 to 2001.
Sun Dandan started training at the age of 7, but he was the first figure skater. At the age of 10, he turned to speed skating training. In 1991, he started short track speed skating training again.
Sun Dandan, who graduated from Jilin Institute of physical education, is from Changchun, Jilin, the base of Chinese short track speed skating.
In July 2004, sun Dandan officially retired. Three months later, he began to work as a coach in the ice center of Jilin Province.
Historical achievements
The third place in the 1500m relay of the 1996 World Championships, the fifth place in the all-round relay, and the silver medal in the 3000m relay of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games, the 3000m relay champion of the 1998-2001 World Championships, and the 1500m champion of the 2000 World Cup in Changchun.
