Li Dejing, born in 1949, also known as Dejing, is from Laizhou, Shandong Province. In 1990, he graduated from the national yuan training class of Chinese painting and calligraphy University. He is a member of Shandong Branch of China Artists Association, a member of China Folk Artists Association, and a member of China paper cutting school.
Since the 1970s, more than 100 works have been exhibited and published, among which more than 20 works have been exhibited and published above the provincial level, and more than 10 have won awards. His representative work is paper-cut "top ten scientists in ancient China", which won the third prize in the "first Chinese paper-cut competition" of China Art Museum in 1990. The print "miner" and the traditional Chinese painting "Lu Xun and Huo Qiubai" were all exhibited above the provincial level and won prizes. In 1989, he was invited to participate in the Symposium on Chinese paper cutting theory, and his book on the childish beauty of folk paper cutting was selected and won the prize.
