Character evaluation
Wu Yigong's films have achieved an open cultural attitude. The film text reflects a wide range of classic aesthetic experience. It adopts a freehand brushwork principle, a kind of classical poetry artistic conception, as well as the use of traditional Chinese landscape painting and opera art for reference. It also uses the principles of travel, yin-yang Aesthetics and one as ten. Moreover, it shows the national spirit and style on the whole, that is, the Chinese intellectuals' sense of responsibility of "taking the world as their own responsibility", "the doctrine of the mean" philosophy and their dependence on and investigation of the spirit of traditional culture. At the same time, by absorbing and learning from foreign art, the reasonable use of documentary aesthetics, the limited use of image aesthetics, and the efforts of various types of films, the film has established a modern sense, with a certain degree of vanguard tendency (review of Qilu art garden).
