Miao Tian
Tien Miao (December 6, 1925 - February 19, 2005), Taiwan artist. Born in the mainland, he was a primary school teacher. Later, in response to the Anti Japanese call of the national government, "100000 young people and 100000 army", he joined the political team of the 202 division of the young people's army and began to contact with stage plays. In 1949, he moved to Taiwan with the withdrawal of the Kuomintang youth army. In 1956, he was admitted to the Chinese film studio as the backstage of the film, and his first performance film was changfengwanli by the central film company. In the 1960s, he became an important actor in martial arts films. He participated in more than 100 works and won the best actor award of Huashi. In 1974, he performed in Hong Kong as eunuch Li Lianying in the Qing palace drama "Qing Dynasty" and "Ying Tai weeping blood" directed by Li Hanxiang, and as Japanese Army General Sakurai Tanigaki in the war film "heroic thousand years". His acting skills were highly praised by all walks of life. He died of lymphatic cancer on February 19, 2005.
