In December 1983, because Li Rongchao left beyond, Huang Jiaqiang added his position to join the band as a bassist. At this time, beyond was not yet formed. Huang Jiaqiang, Huang Jiaju and Deng Jianming also formed "NASA band".
In 1986, Huang Jiaqiang released the band's first album "goodbye, ideal" with beyond.
In 1988, Huang Jiaqiang sang his first solo song "cold rainy night", which was included in beyond's album "modern stage", which was Huang Jiaqiang's first lead song; in September of the same year, he released his album "secret police", which included Huang Jiaqiang's lead song "yesterday's troubles".
In 1989, Huang Jiaqiang released two albums, beyond IV and true witness.
In 1990, Huang Jiaqiang and other members of beyond starred in the comedy "happy ghost saves happy ghost", and wrote and sang the theme song "conquering the demons" and "Declaration of civil and military heroes" for the film. In 1991, Huang Jiaqiang played Chen Ziqiang in the inspirational film beyond diary: don't bully the poor. Personal life
In 2006, Huang Jiaqiang married Makiko, a Japanese girl. Makiko gave birth to his son Keiyo in March 2007. On February 17, 2012, she gave birth to her second son again.
Huang Jiaqiang's family has five brothers and sisters. Huang Jiaqiang has a big brother, while Huang Jiaju is the second brother and has two sisters.
