Li Qing
Li Qing (July 1918 - June 25, 2020), born in Wuqing, Hebei Province, is the former deputy secretary of the Party group and deputy director of the State Administration of Surveying and mapping (ministerial treatment).
On June 25, 2020, Li Qing died of illness in Beijing at the age of 102.
Character experience
In 1935, he took part in the 129th movement.
In June 1936, he took part in revolutionary work and joined the Communist Party of China.
Since October 1937, he has served successively as political instructor of the first guerrilla group in Eastern Hebei Province, Minister of the democratic movement of the Political Department of the 115th division of the Eighth Route Army, Secretary of the three prefectural committees of the Communist Party of China in Lunan and political commissar of the military division.
In September 1948, he served as secretary of the CPC Central South Shandong five prefectural committee and political commissar of the military division.
Since May 1952, he has successively served as deputy director of Industry Department of Shandong Provincial People's government, deputy secretary of Finance Committee of Shandong Branch of CPC, director of Dalian Machinery Industry Bureau, deputy director of Liaoning Provincial Industrial Production Committee, director of Liaoning Provincial Economic Committee, member of Liaoning Provincial CPC Committee, member of Liaoning Provincial People's Committee, etc.
In December 1965, he served as secretary of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee and mayor of Shenyang.
From March 1968 to December 1975, he was assigned to work in the May 7th cadre school. Since January 1976, he has successively served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Zhaowuda League Committee of the Communist Party of China, deputy director of the League reform committee, deputy secretary of the Liaoyang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, deputy director of the League reform committee, etc.
In January 1979, he was transferred to Deputy Secretary of the Party group and deputy director of the State Administration of Surveying and mapping. He retired in November 1982.
