Early experience

Li Lingyu was born in an ordinary worker's family in Shanghai. She has parents and two elder brothers. She studies in Hulin middle school and Fudan middle school. Beijing Red Flag Yue Opera Troupe went to Shanghai to recruit actors, and Li Lingyu became one of the two candidates among more than 5000 candidates. Then he was sent to Zhejiang Shengzhou Shaoxing opera school to study and attack Xiaosheng Xu school. He once played Jia Baoyu in a dream of Red Mansions.

In 1980, Li Lingyu formally joined the Beijing Red Flag Yue Opera Troupe and received strict professional training. After three years of study, she sang Yue tune.

In 1983, Yue Opera Troupe faced dissolution. In the same year, by chance, Li Lingyu failed to be elected to the Oriental Song and Dance Troupe for the first time.

In 1984, Li Lingyu applied for the Oriental Song and dance troupe again. The Oriental Song and dance troupe was going to arrange an Asian African Latin American song and dance party. There was a lack of an actor who was good at singing and dancing. The song and dance troupe asked Li Lingyu to give her a tape and let her go back to practice. A week later, she successfully passed the exam. After entering the song and dance troupe, he mainly focused on Japanese and Southeast Asian songs and dances. Later, he was selected by record companies and turned to pop music.

Acting experience

In 1985, the Oriental Song and dance troupe recorded its first personal album "Oriental rookie Li Lingyu".

In 1987, Li Lingyu became popular and well-known for her song Tianzhu girl. In the same year, he recorded his personal album "midnight Street", and then produced tapes such as "sweet", "Queen of sweet songs" and "sweet girl". He sang songs such as "Shenyang, Shenyang, my hometown", "you are natural and unrestrained, I am beautiful" and "should I go away quietly". The sales of each album are more than one million.

In 1989, a symposium on "Li Lingyu phenomenon" was held in Singapore.

In 1991, he participated in the CCTV youth program host selection competition and won the second prize, and became a special host of CCTV. Personal life

In 1980, 17-year-old Li Lingyu was admitted by Beijing Red Flag Yue Opera Troupe and later joined the Oriental Song and dance troupe. Here, Li Lingyu met her first love boyfriend. I married him when I was 21.

In 1995, when Li Lingyu returned from Japan and went through immigration procedures to Canada in Beijing, she met Jerry, a Canadian Jew. He was the president of Canada Meikang Investment Co., Ltd. on April 12, 1997, they were married in Shanghai. But the marriage lasted only six years, and the two finally chose to divorce.

2007

On the afternoon of September 6, Yang Lan, Ma Yanli, Li Lingyu and Wang Yan gathered to record the theme song "holding your hand" for the happiness project. Happiness project is a social public welfare activity initiated by China Population Welfare Foundation with the theme of helping poor mothers.

2009

On September 2, at the invitation of China Women's development foundation, Li Lingyu participated in the press conference of the "mother's Health Express" love trip jointly sponsored by Omo JinFang and her, and won the honor of love ambassador. As a caring ambassador and volunteer, Li Lingyu made a speech on behalf of all volunteers at the donation ceremony.
