Cheng JieFei, male, from Dukou village, Xiazhen Town, Yushan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. Born in October September 1964, he graduated from Xiazhen middle school in 1979 and was admitted to the Department of chemistry of Jiangxi Normal University. He received a bachelor's degree in 1983. From September 1983 to July 1986, he studied for a master's degree in Shanghai Institute of organic chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From April 1989 to September 1991, he obtained a doctor's degree in Keio University, Japan. From 1993 to 1995, he received a postdoctoral degree from the University of Illinois in the United States. After returning to China, he was an associate researcher of Shanghai Institute of organic chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is currently the editorial board member of Acta chemica Sinica. He published 50 academic papers and obtained 20 international patents (8 of which were authorized by the United States and 6 by Europe).
Profile
At the age of 28, Cheng JieFei was in charge of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the key basic research projects of the eighth five year plan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Junichiro Kobayashi of Mitsubishi Huacheng Institute of life once commented on him like this: "Cheng JieFei Jun, a very excellent young researcher, a promising talent in the future. He is calm and thoughtful In the future, it will be the pillar of Chinese Organic Chemistry and natural product chemistry. In 1986, Cheng JieFei went to Fusang. Under the guidance of the world famous natural product chemists Hirata and Junichiro Kobayashi of the Mitsubishi Institute of chemical life, he started the research on one of the hot topics of life organic chemistry, the physiological active ingredients of marine organisms. In two and a half years, he has isolated and identified more than 20 kinds of new alkaloids and terpenoids from marine animals in Okinawa, Japan. Most of them show strong physiological activities and have good application prospects, and are called "first-class work" by peers. One of his papers on the structure of bioactive substances in ascidians was selected as one of the most influential papers in 1988 by the American Journal of scientific observation. In April 1989, he was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of education, culture, culture, culture, Ministry of Japan for his outstanding research work. He entered the famous Keio University of Japan to study for a doctorate and engaged in the research of total synthesis of marine alkaloids. There, he once again demonstrated his talent and successfully completed the first total synthesis of marine alkaloid discorhabdin-c in the world.
In recent years, he has systematically studied the structure, physiological activity and total synthesis of marine bioactive substances. He worked hard in the State Key Laboratory of life organic chemistry, Shanghai Institute of organic chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He made outstanding achievements in the field of marine biology, and was awarded associate researcher. He, together with the South China Sea Institute of Oceanography and Guangzhou Institute of chemistry, carried out the chemical research on the physiological active ingredients of marine organisms in the South China Sea, which was listed as a key research project in the eighth five year plan by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has been funded by the national Natural Science Foundation of China. The significance of this topic is not only to find new effective drugs in the marine life of the South China Sea, but also to deepen the understanding of human beings through the understanding of marine life phenomena, which is not only a challenge to the ocean, but also a challenge to human beings. On April 30, 1993, China Science Daily introduced Cheng JieFei's deeds with the title of "shanwazi is infatuated with marine life" in the four editions of "proud son of the sea" and "Wen Wei Po" on June 14, 1993.
